It means we will place your business on the front page of Google in the Local Search Pages. Typically you will be ranked within the top 5 positions by the local maps.

I searched a phrase associated with my business and I am already at the top. What now?

Google scrapped the Yellow Pages and several other sources to build out the initial data. You may have lucked into a top position. Once we saturate your market and your competitors buy your spot, you will be fighting again for the top.

So as a small business, you are telling me I can outrank the corporate giant if I purchase from you first?

Top Listings Local customizes your local listing on Google and the other search engines to be more robust and detail oriented. We add critical content such as hours of operation, company logo, product pictures, and payment methods accepted. This is all done free inside of each and every one of our packages!  

Why is Google so important?

Google represents approximately two thirds of all searches in this market. If you're not on Google, it's like your business doesn't exist.

Why is it important to be on the Top?

Most people do not click to the second or third pages when they perform a search. Plus, if the consumer does not have to scroll to find your business, it is easier for them to find you. This placement is called "above the fold". It refers back to old newspaper days when it was critical for your ad to show up above the fold of the paper.

How many key words do I get?

Up to 25 key words or phrases. Most companies limit the number of terms. But we find that we will be able to give you great coverage with 25 key words or phrases. If you need more, simply ask your account rep for more info. There is a nominal charge.

What is a "trusted feed" with Google?

This means that we are completely compliant with Google's systems and processes for delivering your data. It gives us an advantage to get to the "front of the line". All our submissions are done manually.

When does my monthly billing begin?

Your monthly billing begins AFTER we have your site up on Google and we have emailed your first email campaign. We think we should get paid after we prove what we can do.

How long will it take for my business to get ranked on Google?

I takes approximately 30 days for your business to show up in the rankings. But we keep working to update and push your site to the top. We will not bill you until you are on the first page of Google.

What if my business drops out of the top positions?

We constantly monitor your site for you and deliver you monthly reports to show you your average ranking position and how many people have seen your listing. If your site drops out of the top 5 positions, we will adjust your site to place you back in one of the top 5 positions. This is VERY rare, and we are confident that you will be kept at the top. If you do drop out for some reason we are notified immediately and our team fixes the issue before you will even notice it. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your ranking, we won’t charge you for your next month until you are back in the top.

What does it mean “Top Five” placement?

Top Listings Local controls the top 5 spots on Google Local Search. To be fair, we equally rotate the top five listings. If you want to dominate all five spots at the top, we can make that happen. You will just pay a premium.

What does CAN-SPAM Compliant mean?

It means that we follow the rules set forth by congress as it applies to email marketing. We use opt in lists, we identify the sender, we display a physical address in all of our emails. It means that we do it with integrity.

How do I get my 10,000 emails mailed out?

A customer service rep will contact you once you have paid your set up fees. We will determine if an online coupon or newsletter is best for your business. We will then provide professional design to create a message that represents your business well and drives traffic to your business.
